About Think. Imagine. Play.

Hi, I'm Sharon.

I'm a mom and grandmother, and Think. Imagine. Play. grew from something I began noticing while playing with my own grandchildren.

Sometimes children seem to think toys come with invisible rules.

The dollhouse toys belong in the dollhouse. Dinosaurs go with the dinosaurs. Cars belong with the cars. Farm animals stay on the farm.

But imagination doesn't have those rules.

Toys don't have to stay in their own worlds.

A dinosaur can visit the dollhouse. A family can climb aboard a train and travel somewhere completely new. A toy truck can help solve a problem. Animals, blocks, vehicles, dolls, and things found around the house can all become part of the same adventure.

They don't have to match. They don't have to come from the same set.

The story is what makes them belong together.

Where the idea began.

As I watched children's videos on YouTube, I found myself asking a question:

Where is the imagination?

There was certainly no shortage of entertainment. But I wanted to create something that did more than hold a child's attention. Something that encouraged curiosity, inspired creativity, and gave young minds something to think about.

I wanted to create stories that children could build on— inventing their own adventures, solving problems, experimenting, and discovering that there isn't always just one way to play.

Simple language? Absolutely. Simple thinking? No.

Because I believe children's entertainment can be fun while still encouraging them to think, imagine, and explore.

The goal isn't simply to give children something to watch. It's to give them something to do with what they've watched.

Our stories have a home.

At the center of Think. Imagine. Play. is the dollhouse. It's home to the Goodwin family and the friends, neighbors, pets, and visitors who become part of their lives.

It's where many of our stories begin. Someone might come over to swim. A pet might wander off. The family might decide to go somewhere, build something, explore something, or solve a problem.

But the story doesn't have to stay in the dollhouse.

The dollhouse gives our characters a home and our stories a beginning. Imagination decides where they go next.

Sometimes ordinary things aren't so ordinary.

A towel can become a river. A blanket can become a mountain. A cardboard box can become a tunnel. A handful of toys can become an entire world.

Children don't need everything provided for them before they can play. Sometimes the fun is discovering what something else could become.

“Hey! I could make that!”

That's exactly what I hope children will think when they watch our videos. Not just imagining themselves in the story, but discovering they can create adventures of their own.

And sometimes there's a problem to solve.

How do we get across the river? How can we make this stay standing? What could we use for a bridge? What happens if our first idea doesn't work?

Those moments are part of the play, too.

We can experiment. We can observe what happens. We can adjust our idea and try again.

There isn't always one right way to play, build, imagine, or solve a problem.

That's why I created Think. Imagine. Play.

I want to create stories that give children's imaginations something to work with — characters they know, adventures they can continue, problems they can solve, and ideas they can take into their own play.

Because the goal isn't to keep children watching.

It's to make them want to go play.

A little project made with a lot of love.

Think. Imagine. Play. is a project I'm building in my spare time while also working a full-time job. From creating the stories and sets to filming, editing, and making the activities that go along with each adventure, I'm putting it together one piece at a time.

That means new episodes may not always arrive on a set schedule. I'd rather take the time to make something thoughtful, playful, and worth sharing with children than rush an adventure just to get it out the door.

This really is a labor of love, and I'm excited to see where it grows.

Come join us on the journey!

Think. Imagine. Play. is just getting started. There will be new stories, new places to explore, new problems to figure out, and plenty of opportunities to see where imagination takes us next.
